half up boho dance hair
last weekend i had my last girls choice dance, it was one of my favorite high school memories and i was so glad i got to spend it with all my best friends.
this post is the hair style i did and a few variations of it.

for the half up style i left a few pieces out to frame my face then braided the front sections. i did the right section in a normal braid and pancaked it to appear fuller. i did the same thing to the left side except i did a fishtail braid.
one variation is to just pull these braids back into a half up style.
the next variation is my favorite and its just a simple bun. after pulling the braids back i gathered more hair from the crown of head to make the bun more full and then just pulled it half way though the pony tail.
I wear this hairstyle without the braids often. its super casual but adds a little more to your hairstyle.
this last variation is the one i wore to the dance. Instead of putting the hair in a bun i combined the braids and extra hair and started a regular braid. i pancaked it to add a more boho feel and then fish tail braided it.
i absolutely love how this hairstyle turned out. it was super simple but looks super pretty and intricate.
