Tips and favorite foods in Disneyland!

Disneyland is probably my favorite place in the whole world! I love the pure happiness, fun filled rides, delicious food and and of course the music! All of these things contribute to what i think is the perfect vacation. Here are some of my tips to success in Disneyland!

Rides are the reason most people visit Disneyland. This is a picture of Toy Story Mania, a fun ride where you shoot targets in a 3D world made possible by the above pictured glasses. Because there are no fast passes available for this popular ride it is best to go there during the least busy times to ensure that you ride everything!

Disneyland food is one of the best parts of Disneyland. This is a Mickey Mouse sucker. They sell these at nearly every shop and they are not very expensive. They are delicious and great when you are standing in line or to bring as a souvenir for your friends!

The next picture is one of their many fruit options. Next to the Indiana Jones ride and the Jungle cruise there is an explorer shop. This shop is filled with fresh fruit and giant pickles! Some of our families favorites are the giant pickles, strawberries with chocolate dipping sauce and pineapple spears. After eating churros and hamburgers all week these options can be very refreshing.

My very favorite treat at Disneyland is the Dolewhip. This is a pineapple ice cream dessert. You can buy just the ice cream or float form. The float has pineapple juice surrounding it and is my favorite of the two.

Some other favorites are hand dipped corn dogs, burgers from the Soarin' restaurant in California Adventure, Caesar salad at the Pizza Port by Space Mountain and of course Churros!

Another money saving trick is to buy Disneyland gift cards at Sams Club before going to Disneyland. They save you about $7 per $150. That is three churros worth of money saved!! The gift cards can be used to buy food, souvenirs and other things in the park.

I love to fill the days leading up to Disneyland with fun Disney crafts and treats. I love to make cute countdown chains! Check out this link to see my favorite chain to countdown the days: http://greylustergirl.com/disney-countdown-chain-tutorial-with-mickey-ears-template/ Another thing I have done is make the cupcakes above. I made a chocolate cupcake with crushed Oreos and cream cheese frosting. The Mickey Mouse ears are mini Oreos. Adorable and delicious!

I absolutely love Disneyland and hope these tips make your next trip even more fun!

xoxo,

Tylie Sue
